"Exploring the Benefits of Liquid Rhinoplasty: Is It Right for You?"

The nose is one of the most prominent features. It balances out the rest of the face & puts everything into proportion, so, its no surprise that I meet clients DAILY that have insecurities about their noses.

A lot of my clients have looked into Rhinoplasty but are afraid to have surgery as there are just too many "What Ifs". What if my nose ends up looking worse? What if my bridge collapses? What if complications arise during surgery? Surgical Rhinoplasty is obviously permanent and once you commit to that, there's no going back. Luckily we can create the majority of the results you would get when going under the knife using dermal filler. Yes you may need to repeat treatment every 18-24 months but at least it is reversible if you aren't sure about it!

Nose filler is such a subtle treatment that can have a hugely positive impact on a persons self esteem, this is why its one of my most favourite aesthetic treatments to do. If you are unhappy with your nose for whatever reason and are considering surgical or non-surgical treatments, read on to see if Liquid Rhinoplasty may benefit you..

CONCERN 1 - WANT NOSE TO LOOK SLIMMER

If you have experience using make-up to contour you will know that light and dark shades of make-up can create an illusion of a slimmer nose. The same can be done using dermal filler. By placing filler along the centre of a wide nasal bridge we can create height and definition, resulting in a thin light reflex down the nose and a slimmer bridge.

CONCERN 2 - STRAIGHTENING BUMPS OR DIPS IN THE NOSE

This is our most common concern clients have when it comes to non-surgical nose jobs. Filler can be placed either side of a bump to bring the bridge upwards and in line, creating a straight even bridge. The same applies to dips, filler is placed in the hollow area to lift the bridge and straighten.

CONCERN 3 - DROOPY NOSE TIP

Drooping nose tips usually occur when the supratip (top of the tip of the nose) is flat, causing a curved or droopy appearance. Filler can be injected to lift the nose tip creating more definition and a more lifted appearance.

CONCERN 4 - NOSE DEFINITION

Similar to tip lifting, this mainly involves creating definition in the nasal tip and sometimes along the bridge if a wide or low bridge is present.

CONCERN 5 - BRIDGE BUILDING

Some clients have little or no nasal bridge. Filler can be carefully placed to create a nasal bridge which can improve the facial profile, especially the side profile.

TOP THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE HAVING A NON-SURGICAL NOSE JOB

Liquid Rhinoplasty is a pretty painless, quick treatment with little to no downtime or side effects. Although it is a completely reversible treatment a few things should still be considered;

  • Nose filler is long lasting but is not permanent. On average it will last between 12-24 months. Results will start to fade gradually so expect to have to have maintenance top ups every 1-2 years to keep your nose looking how you want it.

  • Make sure you are going to an aesthetics practitioner that has knowledge of nasal anatomy and complications management. The nose is a high risk area due to high vascularization and it's essential that your injector knows how to deal with a complication if it was to arise.

  • It is also important to research your injector and to see before and after photos of results. A non-surgical nose job is artistic and technical treatment and you need a practitioner with experience treating noses, has a steady hand and an artistic eye for how best to contour a nose by strategically placing filler.
